First big question - Will the game be free to play? Yes the game will be free to play. Every new player can choose one of the three starter decks (Naphas, Nordur, Tagari) for free.
Starter Decks contain cards of every level and are competitive at all times thanks to our deck building concept. This is an extremely important point and if you haven't seen the last episode, you should definitely watch it.
What content can be unlocked and why?
Of course Cards. More cards mean more flexibility in terms of strategy. Also, if you unlock enough cards of another race you don't need to buy a starter deck.
Furthermore there are alternative designs of cards. They show the character of the card, for example, in a different setting, or at an older age, or maybe even in a renegade way. All of our cards contain great stories about the respective character. Alternative design also have their own character stories and thus give even more insights into the character.
Apart from that, there will be other fancy things, more on that at a later date :)
What options will there be to unlock things?
One possibility is in-game currencies. We have only planned two digital currencies for GoL:
- GoL points that can be acquired with money
- And Moonstones that can be gained through multiple ways while playing.
Another option will be completing achievements and quests.
All cards and alternative designs will be unlockable with both currencies!
However, some rare alternative designs will ONLY be unlockable by completing achievements or quests.
Why GoL economy system will be great and so different to others?
As passionate gamers, we know that things that can only be unlocked through hard work, a lot of sweat and patience, have much much more value than anything that can be bought.
It was also important to us to create an economy system that is player-friendly and at the same time gives us the opportunity to generate income. The player has complete clarity about his purchases, regardless of the currency. This means that the player himself decides which content he wants to buy and does not have to rely on his luck opening random chests, barrels or that sort of things. In our concept, the player knows exactly how much he has to spend in order to get the desired content. We believe we have found a good solution that makes unlocking of new content attractive for both, casual and hardcore players. We designed it so that players who are willing to put a small amount of money into the game will get the most "rewarded" for it. We will explain this in more detail in due course and show it using several examples.

śledzę Wasz kanał na YT od dawna i podoba mi się koncept gry. Fajnie, że jest już grywalna beta. Gram w GWINT i KARDS WWII ale GoL jest inny i nie do końca rozumiem wszystkie zasady, reguły i mechaniki z powodu bariery językowej. Czy przewidujecie inne wersje językowe?
